This cover fits into two depressions on the back of the tablet. Once you snap the cover in, it stays in place amazingly well. I've taken my tablet with me everywhere, and it's taken some abuse, getting dropped, shoved into bags, and held by only the front of its cover... still the cover has stayed put. It almost makes the tablet feel like a real book, like the cover and the tablet are part of one unit. I was thrown by the high price of this cover, but it has absolutely been worth it for its durability. The great color and nice feel don't hurt, either.
